Most people in rfc know that I'm usually opposed to off topic posts here,
but this thread seems to be of general interest to quite a few regular
rfc'ers.

The subject of the thread couldn't be more clear. It would be easy for
anyone to avoid the subject if they had no interest.

Of course, you could just read another group!
