Actually, I didn't miss that it was more a matter of last minute notice than last
minute invitation. I simply objected to the suggestion that the husband owed her
big time for the gourmet treat that she whipped up..... hamburgers. Not that
there is anything wrong with hamburgers, only that she implied some huge
indebtedness for coming up with such a labour intensive, gourmet treat.... that
hubby will be cooking.
