Do you have 8kg of ripe lemons or does that include the greens? Since
lemons are heavy, that's not really a lot (I have a very prolific tree
myself).

My suggestions - juice and freeze; find someone willing to take them to
work and leave them out for co workers (that's what I do); convince
your kids to start that lemonade business now!

What kind of crummy food bank won't take fresh lemons? They keep and
people appreciate them.
