Many appliances still are but White Westinghouse gave way to WCI that gave
way to Frigidaire that gave way to Electrolux and they may even have a new
name this year. I used to go to the Edison NJ plant (once also known as
Edison Products) and they were making about 10 brands of appliances. That
plant has since closed.

Some Kenmore appliances are supplied by Whirlpool.

I don't recall where, but a web page has the manufacturer listed by
Sears/Kenmore model number.
