I had this problem once with spray starch, and found to my surprise that
there was this red dot on the rim of the can that the nozzle had to be
lined up with in order to work properly. Once I lined them up, I had no
problem. Don't know if that will work with your Baker's Joy, but it's
worth a look-see.
