BBC World is reporting that a recently released CDC report shows that
overeating and obesity is costing the USA over 75 billion dollars in
additional health care costs per year.


Bush is also refusing to accept a WHO request that countries curb overeating
and abusive consumption of sugar, wishing to protect the food industry in the
USA and stating instead that it is up to citizens to decide to eat less.

In the end, when a US company wishes to export widgets, the cost of the
widgets will be higher due to the higher health care costs in the USA.
