One of these days I'm going to have to invest in a mechanical labeller.
But in the mean time I'm still using the thrown together labeller I
made on the day of my first bottling.
I took a 1 foot piece of 1 x 12 and nailed on a 6 inch 1 x 2 across
the bottom. Then I took 2 others and mounted them perpendicular to it
about 1 and 1/2 inch apart. These two boards form a U and are mounted
to just cradle the bottle.
After that I put a piece of 2 x 2 under the top of it to tilt it a
little and there it was/is. Several thousand bottles later and it's
still going strong. Just get one bottle labled like you want it and
then make marks on the boards on both sides of it and then just line
the next labels up on the lines.
