Double skillet?
I just gort my hands on a well-seasoned cast iron Griswold #90 double
skillet. For those unfamiliar with a double skillet (I was), it is a
two-piece arrangement; a 1.5" deep skillet top and a 3.5" deep skillet
bottom. The two pieces fit together. I've used the bottom as a deep
fryer and the top as a regular frying pan. I'm at a bit of a loss on
what to use the whole arrangement for, although it was obviously meant
to be used as a unit in addition to separately. As a dutch oven? That
seems to be the most likely.
