Unless it has been used for some very strange purpose there is nothing
remotely hazardous about used cooking oil. Other posters are right to
advise against dumping it in the garden, but the regular landfill/dump
is fine. Hazardous waste sites and processes are extremely
expensive--best not to use them unnecessarily. -aem
