Dee, for some reason I never got the fact that you have a water softener,
and that may have something to do with it. If the deposits in your
dishwasher tub, as well as all the tubes, pipes, and spray heads, are
really bad, this could account for crystaline deposits. Are you sure it is
crystals of the Lemi Shine?
I would have the water softener checked, as well as the dishwasher.
One thing about using the Lemi Shine itself... Some of the really worst
pieces I had required several washings with it before they became clear. I
never noticed any undissolved Lemi Shine on the dishes or in the tub.
