I'd keep the hot dogs and burgers on hand, just in case, but not prepare
them unless I needed to (say, if there were a couple picky eaters or more
people than I expected, or hungrier people than I expected

). I'd also
skip the alcohol all together. I'm not much of a drinker to begin with, but
people drinking while monitoring 3-6 yr olds in a swimming pool just sounds
like a bad idea to me.
