WILTED LETTUCE
2 lg. bunches of leaf lettuce
2 tsp. sugar
2 green onions, sliced
6 slices of bacon
1/4 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. water
Tear lettuce into bowl and add onion, season with salt and pepper.
Fry bacon crisp and crumbly.
Remove bacon to paper towels leaving dippings in pan.
Add vinegar, sugar, and water to bacon drippings.
Heat to boiling and pour over lettuce.
Toss until wilted.
Add bacon.
