If they're stainless steel, maybe. Otherwise no. They'll rust. Without
knowing more about them, no definitive answer.

Glass has the hazard of shattering if bumped, and breaking if the foods
inside expand in freezing. There are glass jars usable for freezing
available in the U.S. Check wherever they sell canning supplies near you.
