I can second Phil's. I've been there several times, as recently as
several weeks ago. It's located on what appears to be a small
commercial fishing harbor on Monterey Bay. My seating didn't have a
view of the water (and I don't believe that any of the dining area
seating has views). But, the seafood is fresh and simply prepared. I
had clams and my companion had sand dabs (I think). It's a "half table
service" kind of place, i.e., you place your order at the counter, seat
yourself and a server brings it to your table. Wine and (I think) beer
are available. I don't remember Nexis saying whether there would be
young kids in the group. I wasn't really looking at the menu from that
perspective, but there seemed to be quite a few young kids.
