First you make the blend: Combine Darjeeling tea, cardamom, cloves, stick
cinnamon, star anise, and split vanilla beans. (I think you'll probably have
to experiment to find out what proportions fit your tastes.)

Brew and strain the tea/spice mixture, then add sweetened condensed milk.
Voila! Burmese tea.

(If you were trying to make Thai iced tea, you'd start off with the same tea
mixture, but you BOIL the tea -- a no-no by most tea-brewing rules -- for
about half an hour. Then you add lots of sugar and chill. Pour into a
glass over ice but leave lots of room at the top, because you top the drink
off with a generous layer of half-and-half.)
