Oddly enough, last night I made sloppy joes for the first time in years. (I
used the James Beard "American Cookery" recipe.) I only had some old hot
dog rolls in the freezer, but my daughter preferred tortilla chips. She
scooped up the meat like it was a dip.

Next time I'll try some cornbread, too.
