I've made a donation and I hope all do. I am puzzled that everywhere
you see notices asking for donations to the Red Cross. Rarely do you
see requests for donations to the Salvation Army. That troubles me.
They both do good but I consider the Salvation Army a better option for
one simple reason. I have never heard of a Salvation Army employee
making 6 figures a year but I know that a number of Red Cross people
do. I just have a gut feeling that my money does more good with the
Salvation Army folks. Both are good options though, as well as Mercy
Corp and others.
