Pork chops jardiniere
Ingredients
4 pork chops -- 1/2-inch thick
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1-1/2 cups boiling water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 stalks celery -- chopped
1 carrot -- chopped
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Directions
Brown pork chops on both sides in hot oil in a large skillet;
drain off pan drippings. Dissolve chicken bouillon cubes in
boiling water. Stir in next 6 ingredients; pour over pork chops.
Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 1 hour or until tender.
