Well, Carol, you have put me in your kill file before, and you probably will
again. That's certainly your choice.
Perhaps I should clarify once and for all how I really feel about this issue.
1. I really don't give a damn whether airlines serve peanuts or not. I
rarely fly anymore and it really wouldn't affect me much.
2. I resent having *one* person demand that an entire plane full of people
do their bidding. I really don't care what the reason is. It's
unreasonable.
3. If I happen to be on a plane and want to eat the Snicker's bar (with
peanuts) that I brought on board with me, I don't think it's much of an issue
if I'm sitting at one end of the plane and the person with the peanut allergy
is sitting at the other.
4. If I was sitting next to someone when I wanted to eat that Snicker's bar
and that person said they were allergic to peanuts and asked me not to eat
it, I would either get up and go eat it somewhere else or ask them to move.
Personally, I don't think any of that is unreasonable. If you do, then so be
it. There's no accounting for opinion.
