I gather you've never lived in Warwick, RI Tony. North and south of
Green you pause when a plane goes over, since you can't hear yourself
talk, much less think. East and west aren't so bad, I've lived in
both directions.
As far as rain goes, we were out west of Kingston NY this weekend, and
got 11" of the wet stuff Friday night to Saturday night. The area's
clay and basalt, so there's no soil for the water to soak into.
OB Food: the chef at the site we had our conference is amazing.
Breakfast and lunch are good, but dinners are always something simple
but interesting.
OB Cookbooks: Editions, the used bookstore on Rt 28 west of Kingston,
is going out of business sometime in the next two years. Worth the
trip.
