I have collected vac pots for quite awhile and have some very old
ones dating back to the 1930s. This is my latest eBay acquisition.

I love the coffee from a vac pot, but none of mine is electric and
that means they have to be watched. I happen to like the show, with
the boiling water drawn up into the top globe and doing its "thing"
with the grounds, so for me it is terrific.

I have to say that we use such pots on the weekend, when the mornings
are more relaxed. During the week we use a Chemex.
