Best of luck Ken. One of the sayings our gastric bypass group likes is "rejoice
in your limitations." Course we were *trying* to lose weight. If you can't eat
your favorite noodle dish, rejoice that you can eat cream of mushroom soup. Or
whatever. Rejoice that you can see, walk, hear, play bagpipes, etc. Our group is
very diverse in what we can or want to eat, but we all agree we liked cold stuff
better, especially the first year. We also found out that group meetings and
sharings helped a lot too. Find a group with your particular disease and go. May
the force be with you.
