Raw onions are great in the right things. Sliced onion is terrific with smoked
salmon (with cream cheese and capers), on cold cut sandwiches, on hamburgers, in a
grilled cheese sandwich. Shopped green onions are good in salmon or tuna salad.

I don't care much for cooked carrots. I sometimes cook them and have a little and I
will eat them I someone serves them to me. I love raw carrots. There is nothing
quite as tasty as a raw carrot fresh from the garden.
