The S-10 just passed 100,000 miles with only 2 trips to the shop. :-)
And $250.00 for a catalytic converter replacement IMHO is not bad...

I run synthetic oil and really am good about maintenance schedules.
Upkeep cost has been less than $400.00 per year not counting the 2
repairs.
