Not quite the same thing, but.....

my ex was the son of a lawyer. All through the custody trials, his
dad's partner represented him for free. So he was pretty upset when the
court appointed a mediator who had to be paid by both of us, 50/50
split of fees. Each half came to something around $364.

So my ex went down to the bank and withdrew $364 in change. Unrolled it
all and proceeded to dump it in a trash bag. Went to the lawyer's
office and literally THREW the bag of change at her......knocking her
off her chair and into a door in the process. She had to get 9 stitches
to her head.

PS, the lawyer's office refsed to accept loose change for payment. He
had to bring in rolled change or bills.

What is it with people who are mad at having to pay fees doing dumb
stuff with the money, anyways?
