An elegant solution..... :-)

I've used her to help me catch my poultry sometimes. She will get a
little over-excited sometimes and pounce, but she will instantly drop a
bird and recall on command.

She is so terribly eager to please! She wants to be good, the trick is
just getting her to understand what it is you want her to do.

Amazing dog.
