Isn't it though! The rest of my week is destined to be quite hectic -
DS is going into week 3 in the hospital so I have a lot of driving &
meetings, checking his apartment, feeding his fish, financial matters,
etc - my own medical appointments this week, pre-meeting today, MRI
tomorrow & follow-up - dealing with another DS's current problem du jour
- DH leaves Sun for his male bonding trip & I promised I'd make a batch
of chili for the guys - well you get the idea and no point boring you
with this kind of stuff. Funny thing is cooking helps me put what I
have to deal with into perspective. I can think things through as I cook.

Yesterday was such a *bitch* day! It took me 3 hours to do the payroll
banking as a favour for DH - apparently the winer employees get a little
testy if they don't get their pay on time - not our employees but the
company DH does the payroll for. Then the grocery store was out of
farmer's cheese & had only one large pk of motzarella cheese but the
store was flooded with little grey haired ladies blocking every aisle
while they re-capped their life stories. The aftermath of a huge fire
attributed to arson on Devil's night caused a back-up of traffic due to
gawkers & the detour. The site could be seen from the 4 lane road so
people just stopped in both directions - no way to get around them.
Trust me I needed to make that lasagne last night just to calm my mind!
