I can tell you this: the DH once talked me into serving lutefisk at
our traditional New Year's Day bowl watching party. Only the DH and an
intrepid pal from Scotland even tasted it - the odor preceded, as it
were. I could have used it to hold the lid of the garbage cans down
for years. No neighborhood critters would have gotten near it.
