Perhaps some of the recipes are authentic, I cannot claim to have looked at
all of them. But many of the "international" recipes are pale imitations of
the real thing, modified to suit Americans' typically bland tastes and the
unavailability of proper ingredients.

Actually I like the book a good deal, but not for its "international"
offerings. But even if the international offerings were excellent, it would
still be a poor choice for what the OP requested because it is 95%+ Americal
recipes.
