There is a series of books called the Moosewood cook books, the edition
called "Sundays at Moosewood Restaurant" is very eclectic and includes
early american, asian, middle eastern, african, and various other
recipes from different parts of the world.

It is a vegetarian cook book but the recipes are easily adapted for
service with meat.
