Default Tuesday Morning -- Oh, Dimi-i-i-i-itr-i-i-i

Skip to the last couple paragraphs if you want my food question. This
is deep background.

Current flyer for TM (the store) sale that begins today has an 11-cup
Cuisinart on the cover for $100. Fancy that. Replacement parts that I
can use for my current 11-cupper run to $100 plus shipping (or close).
Not knowing how the crowds are for these things and recalling your tale
about arm-wrestling someone for a Cuisinart for your daughter, I decided
to be there early.

Margaret would have been proud. Margaret IS proud. Or will be when she
reads this.

I was first in line 40 minutes before opening. The line formed behind
me. Ladies #2 and #3 were there to look for the Lalique flutterbys and
Hummels. About 10 people in line and a geezer couple comes along. They
go to the back of the line and then the old guy moves to near the exit
door, ostensibly perusing the window display. Door opens, I went in and
went to the food processors and got mine. I putzed in the store for a
while and ran into Ladies 2&3 and asked if they got what they wanted.
Nope -- the old guy went in and grabbed everything. Herd mentality and
survival of the fittest, I guess.

I'm a little embarrassed to mention this purchase but I'm among friends.
.. . I also bought a spritzer for balsamic vinegar. With the vinegar
inside. A "flavor spritzer." Now, if one is going to trim calories, I
don't think balsamic has any to trim. And I do use an oil spritzer for
olive oil. It was a whim.

In my putzing I came across a bottle of avocado oil for maybe $3-4. I
don't know if that's a buy or not but it's in my kitchen right now. How
do I want to use it to its best advantage? I await your advise.
