I voted at seven this morning, an hour after the polling stations
opened. Then I went home and made meatballs for tonight. Spaghetti
and meatballs, except I have left over mashed potatoes and will serve
that instead of the pasta. I cannot waste them and mashed potatoes do
not freeze. Marcel will have to be talked into believing that the
spaghetti got mushy.

I must have had three dozen recorded telephone calls in the last three
days. What a waste of money this is. Also, what right do the ones
who make a live call have to ask for whom I intend to vote? Aren't we
assured and entitled of a secret vote?
