Default bad smelling pork...what's up?

Cryovac meat often smells bad when you open the package. The smell
dissipates quickly when you cook it. (It will probably dissipate just
from exposure to air.) If the meat is *really* starting to spoil, the
smell will get worse when you start cooking it.
