Barbecued Ribs
Barbecued Ribs
2 slabs of pork spareribs (3 to 4 pounds each)
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1 onion, sliced
1 jar (16 ounces) of barbecue sauce
Rub each side of the spareribs with salt and pepper. Cut the ribs into
serving portions. Place the ribs in a broiler pan and broil for 15
minutes or until browned. Drain. Put the sliced onion in the stoneware
(Crock pot). Place the rib sections on top of the onions, pour the
barbecue sauce on top. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours (HIGH 4 to
5 hours).
