I can relate. I'm not a Kraft Mac and cheese fan. I always make my own,
but I do use american cheese or .... velveeta (egads! did I just admit to
that????) I use lots of butter and usually a little milk. And, none of
that "put in the oven and bake until it can be cut in squares and stacked
up like bricks". Noooo. It's got to be creamy, rich, melt-in-your-mouth,
stick-to-your-hips good. Leftover ham is good, but my fave is ground
beef, fried and crumbled into it. Yum.
