I don't think that green peanuts are available around here. I think
this is strictly a Southern thing. <sigh> And the peanuts didn't get
soft enough to eat without dentures. I probably won't make them
again.

If I were to make them again, I'd use 1 pound of peanuts and 2
tablespoons of salt.
