Just put a spin on what she says, and she's funny and friendly. You're
right about not contributing about cooking, but if given a chance,
she's pretty cool in other ways.

PS: A few people have inquired about my post saying that she was
coming over to decorate cookies on Christmas Eve. No. LOL!
