Got a lot of mileage out of four used roast beast bones: simmered them in
the stockpot to make a killer broth for onion soup, and then picked off 2
cups of meat scraps for a chili.

For those who recall that I lived on the Cape, I've just moved to Boston's
Back Bay, where I will watch the New Year's Eve parade from my window.
