I am so sorry to hear about your dad, Jill. My dad was diagnosed four years
ago with a type of cancer for which there is no cure. Based on what my
brothers and I were told about the disease (and what his doctor's prognosis
was, seeing as he was in an advanced stage of the cancer), we fully expected
the Christmas of '01 to be my dad's last. (As it turned out, it wasn't his
last, fortunately, but we live with the knowledge that he will die from this
disease one day.)

I'll keep your dad in my thoughts. Take care of yourself.
