I'm certain there are PC-compatible DVRs, but EyeTV is Mac-only.

I've also started using the EyeTV to digitize my old VHS tapes...
actually, I had to borrow a VCR--I haven't had one in years. They seem
so cumbersome now, compared to DVD players and DVRs.
