I use this and like it:
1 1/2 pounds carrots, finely shredded
4 cups finely slivered napa cabbage
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
Salt
Refrigerate a few hours before using.
