Don't know if you like to take showers in the kitchen, but I've had two
compliments of the Waterpik Faucent Filtration System. Got tired of
the pitcher and thought it would be of some benefit, until the plastic
of both filters and attachment "hardware" developed cracks sending
water everywhere.

Our pressure's normal and nothing was over-tightened. The plastic
simply developed cracks and in non-pressurized locations.

There's no warranty service here in the mid south, but I forced Home
Depot to take the first one back only to have the second system develop
the same cracks in the filter. Wasn't too bad, just an annoying drip,
until the tightening ring simply exploded.

Ironically Waterpik says there's a lifetime warranty on this particular
model. Don't think I'll drive to St. Louis to find out. I'll just let
the forty bucks be my lifetime exclusion of Waterpik products.
