Default Rice Wine Vinegar

I use it all the time. It has 4.3% acidity rather than the 5% of
'regular' vinegar, and so is a little milder. Other than that, there's
nothing special about it. There *is* a "seasoned" rice vinegar that
has sugar and salt added, and is recommended (on the label) for making
sushi rice.

Both the seasoned and plain versions of Marukan brand rice vinegar
mention that it is "brewed", which may lead to the 'rice wine'
confusion.
