I am currently keeping up in:

alt.cooking-chat - I read this one once a week or so.

alt.support.stop-smoking (will be 6 months smoke free tomorrow 10/4) - I
read this one every day.

rec.crafts.misc (only read occasionally, as it's a slow group)

and this one, rec.food.cooking, which I read every day.

I will occasionally pop in on rec.woodworking (a hobby of mine) and
rec.food.recipes, though not often, since that group seems a lot more.....
sedate... than this one. I don't post much, but I'm a great lurker.
