When I was a kid, I thought that shredded coconut was the same stuff as the
fake grass they used to put into Easter baskets. I'm just surprised that the
taste isn't horrible like I remember it being. Maybe because when I was a
kid I was dealing with processed shredded coconut, and now I'm faced with a
fresh nut.
