Naw, that's much classier than mine. Sounds delicious - I'll save that
recipe. Actually, the reason I specified "Grandma's" was to give you
visions of a mayo-laden cold salad, 50s style. =)

This recipe is as best I can do; measurements are apporximate. Never
written down the recipe.

Chill 1 can LeSeur baby green peas (these are brand-specific!). I like
the ones with pearl onions in them.

Drain the peas. Mix in about 2 oz sharp cheddar, in very small cubes, 2
- 3 stalks minced celery, sometimes I also add about 1/4 c minced
vidalia onion.

Dress with enough mayo to cover. I very often use half mayo, half plain
yogurt ro up the nutritional value. Sprinkle with about 1 t celery
seed. Salt and pepper to taste. Chill at least 2 hours to get the 'raw
mayo' flavor off the dressing.
