I went to the Marin farmers market this morning, and there were
several stalls there selling strawberries. Some of the farmers said
they planted early this year. Many of them were from much farther
south in California. One was from the San Diego area, and another
from the Santa Maria area.
And yes, the strawberries were good: I tasted some from several
stalls. However, one grower said they would be much better in about 2
weeks or so, so I think I will wait to get mine then.
