In the background where you mention the 'magic cupboard, the white wall
cabinets in the background. We bought a house in California that had these
looks-like-cabinets, but it was a hanging refrigerator. One door side was
the refrigerator (right side) and the other door was the freezer.
Underneath it were cabinets just as you see in the picture. We bought the
house in 1975 and wanted to preserve the refrigerator. We had to laugh when
the repair man came and said, "I've already condemned this refrigerator 3
times." We used it a few more years before we got another refrigerator. But
it was a conversation-al piece. I liked it -- no bending over and just the
right height for me -- 5'2".
