fussy child

Don't buy those! Train yourself to be neutral about her fits. I found that
with my boys, when they understood that dinner was what was for dinner, they
ate dinner. Sometimes they would eat very little, but we have a rule that
they can have bananas, oranges, etc. in between meals (non-filling foods).
Treats are small and come at the end of the day, only after a reasonable
amount of healthy fare has been ingested. Sometimes, it takes 3 or 4 rounds
of a new item to get used to it, but, wow! 2 year olds should not dictate
the menu! Don't be afraid to be the (ever-lovin') boss! She will not
starve, even if she chooses to abstain from what you give her. Eventually,
she will understand that waiting for the next meal will NOT bring her those
dinosaurs or yogurts, and she'll choose to eat rather than be hungry. It
will be harder on you than on her!
