Epcot Food and Wine Festival

I'm thinking about going next year with some wino buds in Punta Gorda, who
have joined me in both Epcot and New Orleans for several of these festivals.
We attended about 6 years ago, and Disney was still having problems organizing
(I know, if anyone should be able to organize an event on their own property,
it should be Disney) the Epcot event. There were never any registrant's
packages and we found out about many events via word-o-mouth, once at Epcot.
The events (that we found out about) were nice, with very heavy concentration
on NY and Canadian wines. One Pacific NW wine dinner/pairing was a horrible
joke, that even Mr Sokol-Blosser apologized for. My friends have done several
in the years since, and say that they are getting far better.
I'd urge you to get ALL of the info beforehand - do not take NO for an answer.
Most of all, please post notes on the event, if you do attend, so I can do
better next time.
